Right Side Up is launching AI Services to help marketing teams move from scattered AI usage to measurable, sustainable impact.
We’ve been diligently developing these new services for a while, and are thrilled to finally bring them to you.
The new offering includes two ways to engage:
- AI Services help teams identify and prioritize where AI can create the most value—and build what’s needed.
- AI playbooks give teams a faster way to deploy proven workflows built for their specific marketing needs.
Both are delivered by senior marketers who understand the work they are improving and the AI systems that can improve it.
That combination matters because most teams still need support turning AI interest into implementation. In Right Side Up’s AI Fluency in Marketing report, only 12% of surveyed marketers qualified as AI-native, meaning they could build multi-step, human-in-the-loop systems.
Most marketing teams will agree they do not need more pressure to use AI. What they do need is help from subject-matter experts who can determine what is worth building, make it fit their organization, and help their teams put it to work.
Right Side Up offers two practical ways to move forward
Not every marketing team starts in the same place.
Some know they need to use AI more effectively but are unsure where to begin—and want hands-on support for both strategy and implementation. Others already have a clear problem or workflow they want to improve and are ready to start building.
We support both starting points via our AI Services and AI playbooks.
AI Services: Find the right opportunities first, then build
Our AI Services help your team identify the right opportunities, then build and scale the systems that support them.
Evaluate
First, we connect you with an AI-fluent senior marketer who seeks to understand how your organization currently operates. They assess:
- The lay of the land: Your existing tools, data sources, and workflows, plus how you’re using AI in everyday work
- Your pain points and goals
- Where AI can bring the most value (e.g., reduce manual work, improve quality, or support better decisions
From these findings, they create a prioritized roadmap that tells you what you should build or buy next—and what you’re already doing well.
Build
Next, your consultant brings the roadmap to life by building and implementing workflows they recommended. Based on your team’s needs, they either
- Build a custom workflow from the ground up, or
- Adapt one of Right Side Up’s proven AI playbooks
Then, they implement the workflows, customizing them to fit your processes, data, and tech stack. The system is designed around how your team actually works, not just handed off as a generic framework.
Teams with a clear use case already in mind can move straight to our AI Playbooks for an even faster path to implementation—more on that later on.
Train and scale
Once the workflow is live, your consultant helps your team adopt and expand it. That can include:
- Training your team to run and maintain the workflow
- Documenting processes and ownership
- Supporting maintenance and iteration as your needs evolve
This support enables your team to autonomously use and optimize these workflows. Our goal is to set you up for long-term success, not to have you rely on us for all AI needs.
AI playbooks: Deploy a proven workflow faster
As part of our AI Services, we also offer a more direct path to implementation: AI playbooks, which are proven, repeatable workflows built to solve specific marketing problems.
Playbooks can support needs across paid media, analytics, ecommerce, lifecycle, content, creative, SEO/GEO, and other marketing functions. They combine the speed of starting from a proven foundation with the flexibility of a custom solution.
Right Side Up has a carefully curated (and ever-growing) library of these playbooks, which are all tested or used by a real marketing team before being added to our collection.

As part of a broader AI Services engagement, we may recommend and implement one of these pre-existing playbooks when it aligns with your goals and workflows. Already eyeing a playbook from our library? That works too: we’re happy to skip straight to implementation.
Once you choose a playbook, the original builder steps in to make it work for your team, not just install it and disappear. They will:
- Customize the workflow around your goals, tools, data, approval structure, and existing processes
- Implement and integrate it into how your team already works
- Train your team to run and manage it
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and refine it over time
- Adapt the workflow as your needs evolve

Got a playbook idea? We’ll build it.

Why marketing teams need more than AI experimentation
For most marketing organizations, the question is no longer, “Should we use AI?”
The answer is obviously yes. The more relevant questions now are:
- What should we build?
- Which workflows are worth prioritizing?
- Should we build something custom or buy another tool?
- How will it fit into our existing stack and processes?
- Who has the time and expertise to make it work?
But AI usage often remains disjointed within teams. While individuals often develop ways to work smarter with AI on their own (e.g., increased content output or faster data analysis), these experiments may never get documented, shared, or turned into repeatable systems.
At the same time, companies are paying for more AI and SaaS tools without always knowing what value they are receiving. Teams see dozens of potential use cases but have no reliable way to rank them by impact or feasibility.
The missing link: someone who understands what AI can do and how marketing work actually happens.
Generic AI recommendations frequently miss that second part. We’ve seen many workflows look impressive in a demo but still fail because they did not account for marketing context.
That’s why we built AI Services.
A natural extension of the Right Side Up model
Our AI Services may be new, but they’re certainly not a departure from how Right Side Up works.

Our model has always centered on deploying A+ marketing talent customized to the work a client needs done. We vet experienced marketers across functions, then build flexible engagements around each company’s goals, team, and operating environment.
AI Services applies that same model to a new generation of marketing challenges.
Marketing expertise comes first
Every AI Services engagement is led by a vetted senior marketer who is also deeply fluent in AI-enabled workflows.
That distinction is important. Improving a lifecycle program, media planning process, or ecommerce launch requires a firsthand understanding of the strategic decisions behind the work; technical fluency alone is not enough.

The next step in your AI journey
AI progress should be measured by tangible outputs, like faster workflows, better decisions, and increased team capacity.
Right Side Up’s AI Services give marketing teams a practical way to get there. We can help identify what is worth building, deploy a proven workflow when the need is already clear, and train teams to own and evolve the systems over time.
